Gallery Description

In July 2012, Goldbelt began experimenting with geoduck farming at an intertidal site named “Sunrise”, which is located at Hobart Bay. Approximately 2,000 geoducks were successfully test-planted. Geoducks (pronounced gooey-ducks) are large-neck clams that are renowned for their meat. They are prized for their savory flavor and crunchy texture and are considered a delicacy in Japan and China.
